Hello.

I have been having troubles with my HP Envy dv6 7300 laptop ever since I replaced the mobo.

* The laptop doesn't turn on when I press the power button, but immediately when the battery/charger is plugged in.
* The laptop never turns on its screen when I have a Hard Drive attached. When I boot it without the Hard Drive, it boots into BIOS without a problem.
*Even if I turn it on and attach a hard drive later, the hard drive doesn't show up. This makes installing any OS impossible.

I know it's not the Hard Drive's fault because I've tried it with another hard drive and see the same results. Both of them show up just fine when connected via USB.
I've tried getting a replacement SATA cable for it, and that changes nothing.

The only thing I haven't checked yet is the mobo, and I don't know what could be wrong or how I could replace it, if I even can.

Thank you for any assistance, because I really don't want to scrap the thing.
