I had to replace two parts on my laptop (the bottom and top chassis, nothing internal) so I followed a guide and took it apart. It pretty much involved taking everything apart. After assembling it again I put in the battery and tested it out. It booted up and I got to the log in screen but it suddenly just powered off. I took it all apart again and tested my connections. I am trying to make it work right now with everything disassembled. I have checked all ribbons and it all seems to be in order. Sometimes the HDD starts but then it shuts down after around a minute. Sometimes the fan will start on full blast and just keep going. I get variations based on if I fill 1 RAM slot or 2. The screen does not turn on at all now. I have made sure to double check all connections. Does anyone have an idea of what the issue might be? Thank you

Solution
With you taking it apart, impossible to see what the issue is unless you a have someone else look over how it's put back together. Could be a damaged part, could be heat issues, bad RAM slot if those have an effect on how the system runs, maybe you scraped a motherboard connector, etc...
