My laptop is HP Pavilion E Series. I recently upgraded my win 8.1 to 10. Since then, my laptop gets overheated and fan speed increases. I experienced plugged in not charging, so , I uninstalled MICROSOFT ACPI and it worked but had to do it often. Now, My battery is showing 0% plugged in not charging and that method is not working. Also I have been getting the message powering my laptop on that ' The system has detected the storage capacity of the battery below to be very low'. Please Help me

Solution
try running a lightweight OS such as ubuntu and see if it will charge the battery.

No, I believe that it has something to do with the recent overheating issues that i experienced after win 10 upgrade. Still i will get it checked by an expert and replace it if needed.
