Hi,

Yes, if the laptop does have a mPCI-e which almost all laptops does have but yes you are correct that you'll be sacrificing the wireless capability of your laptop but just want to say that there are eGPU device that don't use the mPCI-e port inside your laptop. :) eGPU does support GTX 960 but make sure you have the appropriate power supply to power the GPU.

It's been two years since the original posted has posted anything on Tom's Hardware (this was his last post). I don't find it likely he'll be back, so I'm closing this thread.
