when i turn it on it boots strait to Bios and thats all i get.

Hi,

Here are some troubleshooting steps that may help in identifying the issue.
- First is to do a hard reboot, remove the battery and unplug the AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds then try booting it up again.
- If it will not get pass BIOS press F9 to reset BIOS to default then press F10 and see if it will get pass BIOS.
- Next to try is to remove the HDD off the laptop and boot it up and see if it will still get stuck in BIOS.
- If it does load to a black screen with an error that means the HDD if the problem.
- If it gets stuck on the BIOS screen again without the HDD that means there's a problem with the motherboard.
- Your last troubleshooting step would be to reset BIOS by removing the CMOS battery from the motherboard then put it back in.
- If it still gets stuck in BIOS that means the problem is the motherboard.
