Hello again - asus g73jh hard drive went bad- So i bought a amd r7 ssd. installed discs that i burned from it - disks downloaded just fine but when its done it restarts it goes to a saying - reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key - is there a special partition for this particular model laptop in old hard drive ? If so how do i get the software- lol ?

Hi,

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help.
- First is to load in BIOS and make sure that your HDD is listed.
- If it's listed, do set it as the first boot device then see if it will load in Windows.
- If it will not work unfortunately you'll need to order a new set of System Recovery disc from ASUS.

Here's a link where you can order a set of recovery disc from ASUS.
