I have an iPad with lots of music. I have two little Bluetooth speakers (they are the same) that I would like to connect to the iPad mini but in Settings while it says both are paired, only one plays sound.
I could buy a Soundbar to,put behind the seats (91 Miata) but would like to use what I have.
Anyway this can be done?
Thanks in advance.

i don't think it will connect to 2 different devices at the same time.

you will want to find a multi-speaker set-up that will connect as a single item to the ipad. there are also a number of ways to get the sound from the ipad to the car's stereo depending on what is in the car right now.

some have an audio input that will let you connect via the headphone jack on the ipad. they make a ton of bluetooth adapters for car audio. or there are also plenty of fm transmitters available that will broadcast the ipad to the fm radio in the car.

Thanks. The 91 Miata is somewhat lacking in hi tech sound. The radio has a cassette player and no inputs for anything....hence the Bluetooth question. I could get a bt Soundbar but then I'd have to install an inverter in the trunk to plug in the Soundbar. I've had fm transmitters but they didn't work too well. There are only two speakers in the front doors that are crappy so I thought two bt speakers in cup holders would work.

that makes sense. i had an older car for a while with only a tape deck and i got one of those tape adapters for my cd player to connect. it is a cassette with a wire to plug into the headphone jack. i used it for years. not the best solution but it was only like $5 at walmart and worked well for the time i needed it.

not knowing the cost of the bt speakers you're looking at, would it be cost effective to just update the car speakers? a set of 6x9's (my guess of what is in the car door) are pretty cheap and readily available.
