PS4 or Laptop under 500 USD?

Hi, I am curious as to whether a ps4 or laptop under $500 is better. I plan to use which ever for gaming. Could I stream with the laptop? Any ideas or suggestions? I have been leaning towards the ps4. Thanks for any help. :) What laptop do you recommend?

For the performance to price ratio, a PS4 is great value for money.

For $500 you won't get anywhere near the same performance from a laptop, nor a desktop really.

Trust your instincts there, the PS4 would be your best bet.
