Solution
Hi there pakmobile,

Do you have another OS installed on the drive? Do you have some data stored on the drive? If you have some, you will need to back it up. In case you have some data stored on the drive but your laptop will not boot, you will need to use some data recovery tool for DOS mode.

If you don't have data on the drive, you can just partition and format the drive before the installation process.

Here's how:
- Once you are in Windows setup, press shift+F10 to bring up the command line.
- diskpart [enter]
- list disk [enter]
- select drive [number] [enter]
- clean all [enter]
- create partition primary [enter]
- select partition 1 [enter]
- active [enter]
- format fs=ntfs [enter]
- assign [enter]
- exit [enter]
- exit [enter]

Hope this will help,

For there to be a partition, you have to make one. But if you don't know what you're doing when you make it, or if you don't have enough space on the drive to do it, you can ruin your existing system and files. There are plenty of tutorials around the internet on how to partition a drive. I suggest you look at a few of them.
