I just finsihed building my first pc so I'm a noob, everything is good and drivers updated besides the fact that i bent a pin for my usb 3.0, the problem now it that whenever i connect my headset or headphones in my computer says they aren't yet audio works because i can play it using my monitors speakers, and ideas on how to fix?
Headphones and headaet are plugged in, but pc says they aren't

bent a pin for your usb3? do you mean the usb header for the case front panel cable?
if so, you can eliminate that as a variable by trying out the rear usb ports on the motherboard directly.
you say headphones and headsets dont work. are you referring to usb models (headsets) or also 3.5mm models of headphones? do they work on other computers as well?
are you using the correct usb drivers, usb3 drivers and soundcard/audio drivers?

3.5mm for both??
a usb header wouldnt affect analog headphones using 3.5mm
that points towards audio drivers if you're not getting sound. just to be sure i'd use the ones on the cd that came with your motherboard. check your default audio device (right click volume icon, playback devices) and make sure its headphones when they are plugged in. try the rear panel and the front panel as well (perhaps you plugged in the header for front panel wrong)
