Recently I bought and connected a digital antenna (coax) and hooked it up to the back of the TV. Last night, I tried to unscrew the antenna coax from the back of the TV, and accidentally ripped the female coax port out of my TV.
Thankfully the TV still works, but of course, now I'll never be able to connect anything that's coax to my TV.
Not a big loss, but I really want to still be able to use a digital antenna to get local news.
Is there any device I can plug the coax antenna into, then plug the device into my TV over HDMI? So to watch whatever coax connection the device is hooked up to, I just switch my TV input to the HDMI of the device.
