I have a Sony STR-D1015 Receiver, a new HDMI TV and Blue ray player. Specifically what input and output jacks do I use? I have a great non HDMI receiver.

Solution
Connect the BD player to the TV with HDMI. The TV should have an audio output but you might need an adapter or cable to make the connection. If the TV has optical audio out you will need a DAC like this one

If it has a analog audio or headphone out (either RCA or 3.5mm stereo mini plug) you need a cable with the correct plugs.
If the TV doesn't have audio outs and neither does the BD player you would need and HDMI audio extractor like this one

Well if the TV has optical output, you could get a optical output to RCA convertor, but you will only get stereo sound but it looks like your receiver on takes stereo anyways so you'll never get true surround out of it. Also copy protection on blurays may get picky being converted so many times.

My option, get a new receiver and enjoy true surround with your new setup.

Thank you for the quick help, I was trying to avoid replacing the amp but it is best I am finding out.

An hold-over solution: If your TV has enough HDMI inputs, hookup all your sources to the TV directly, let the TV do the video switching, then let the receiver do the audio switching but you will get stereo only, no surround (if that's not obvious). Hold-over until the honest-to-God, full surround, digital receiver.

How is the receiver going to do the audio switching?
