I got a laptop recently. The specs said that it has a battery life of upto 6 hours, ( the laptop is a Lenovo U41-70 80JV007GIN), but I want to know how much I can realistically expect. The battery is a 3-cell 45 watt-hour battery. The processor is an i5-5200U, the RAM is 4GB, and the graphics card is a 2GB NVIDIA GeForce 920M. So far I have only been browsing and installing software. I intend to use it for software development and web development. I usually keep the screen brightness low, I don't use Bluetooth and I keep it off, and I rarely use the keyboard backlight. I try not to overcharge it (though I do occasionally leave it charging too long), but I leave it on soft surfaces a fair bit. I am running Ubuntu Linux.

I don't want exact numbers, but based on its specifications, how much battery life can I expect? I understand that this depends on my usage, so if possible, please give the battery life for different scenarios, such as playing videos, word processing, light text editing or coding. I don't play any games, however I use the Unity game engine for game development.
