My motherboard doesn't have any optical audio ports but my headset (SteelSeries H Wireless) has that hub/transmitter thing and there are some there and I wish to use them. Is there any way for me to use 7.1 surround sound, like is there an adapter or something I could use or nah?

An adapter won't help you since the PC will be outputting stereo from the headset port.

You can buy a sound card with optical out though, and for a 5.1 instead of a 7.1 card, you can get it pretty cheap http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16829132020&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC-_-pla-_-Sound+Card-_-N82E16829132020&gclid=CPmT8PWqncsCFdYYHwodLUYGuQ&gclsrc=aw.ds

For 7.1 you are looking at quite a bit more money http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA24G37P8676 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA24G28N6034 .
