My Acer Inspire ES11 camera shows me fuzzy. Is there a way of making the picture clear?

I have only had this laptop just over a month, and it worked perfectly well. But recently while on Skype my picture has become unclear - even ghostly!

Solution
Hi,

Please do try to uninstall/reinstall the webcam driver.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the camera driver.
- Once uninstalled reboot your laptop and it should reinstall the driver automatically.
- After the reboot do test your webcam again with Skype and see if problem has been resolved.
- If this will not work run System Restore, restore it back to an earlier date or time before the problem even happened.
- Here's how to run System Restore: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-ph/windows-10/windows-10-recovery-options
- If all these will not work you'll need to run reinstall Windows.

HI. I know it sounds stupid, but thank you, but I've been using the camera until a week ago, when it went fuzzy on me. It's as though the camera needs focussing.

Thank you Laptop Nerd. I uninstalled webcam, and rebooted, and as you indicated it reinstalled the driver automatically and works perfectly now. I was a bit nervy about doing a System Restore, but not needed anyway this time. Thanks again my friend.
