Acer aspire E15. I lost everything after repeated attempts to get rid of Rimage pop ups. All he'll broke loose with alarm blee

I kept getting a pop up called reimage & the it froze the screen. I tried getting rid of it but messed things up & then I had a bleeding alarm saying critical & telling me to phone an 0800. I am not very good with pic's so I held down the power button to quickly shut. Now it has something stopping it from loading windows so I've tried following the instructions for resetting & the keeping files etc but no luck. I also get a Mess saying CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED. Any advice appreciated

Generally if your computer tells you to telephone a number it's not a good idea to phone that number. Probably a virus/malware/ransomware you happened upon.

If you don't mind losing EVERYTHING on your computer, you could try doing a factory reset and hope that it fixes the problem. I believe the procedure for Acer is to turn the PC off, turn it on and start pressing ALT + F10 immediately until you get to the Acer recovery menu.
