I upgraded my Dell Inspiron 2200 memory from 256 on the mother board to an additional 512 in the memory slot. I bought SODIMM DDR 512 which should be the right memory. Bios doesn't see memory nor does Windows. I am not sure about whether it is seeded in the slot. How can I tell. When I try to spread the latches out holding the memory, it does not pop up. I have to very carefully pull it out.
