Which laptop is better?

So I've been looking at laptops and I've come across two that I like. One is $800 (dell inspiron) and the other is $2250 (sager np 9870). I would like to know which one would be better in the long term (hopefully 4-5 years). I would be using the laptop for any college work, programming, and light to mid range gaming (I have a tower for the major gaming I need). However if I go with the $800 would it be possible to make the case around the keyboard "less flimsy". I watched a linustechtips video about the $800 laptop (dell inspiron) and when he showed the keyboard he could push in on the case and it would move under his hand. I would like to solve that issue and make the case harder to push down if its possible. Thanks for any help.

I don't know if pushing in on the case is really an issue or not. I wouldn't let that deter me from buying the Dell, you get a lot for your money. For what it's worth, the Sagers use plastic cases, which some people don't like. That being said, The Sager would be a better choice if you want game on it for the next 4 or 5 years. It has double the graphics power, and higher end components don't go obsolete as quickly.

Not sure what the video is but most every keyboard I've worked on, Dell or Lenovo, the keyboard has a little give so you can push it down and backwards to remove/replace it. The Lenovo next to me for example (t450) has a backing behind/under the keys that slides up so you can unscrew the keyboard from the frame, then pop out the edges afterwards. The Dell's I've worked with are similar but lacked the screws in the frame and instead had a screw or two holding it in place from the bottom of the case (it was a few years back that I last worked on one but that's how I recall it).

I have to say, if you're looking for school work... well personally $800 vs $2250 is an easy decision for me. I poured close to $1500 on a desktop to handle my games and do work, so I couldn't justify $2250 for a laptop unless it was your main/only machine and you needed it for high end graphic design or something else. Just my personal thought though.

Would it be possible to upgrade the graphics card in the dell laptop or would I be stuck with the same components?
