TV not responding to remote.

The TV is not responding to my remote.

SWEDX SuperSlim 40 FHD LED - TV

Red light is constantly on the TV

TV gets recognized by my pc but no picture.

Got a new remote from the support and linked it with the TV.

I removed a black sticker that was infront of the red light a while ago and thought it was some random sticker. Could that be the problem ?

If so whats that sticker called and where do i buy one

The light is probably just a light, the infrared receiver on the TV should be covered by plastic not a sticker. Should be that is, your brand may be different but I have never seen a TV that had a sticker over the receiver. If you are trying to change inputs, do the buttons on the TV work for that?

There is no buttons in the TV itself just the remote.
The sticker was thick

Going by the picture, that was not a sticker you pulled off, it was the plastic cover over the remote receiver. Not sure where you'd find a replacement, but it should work without the cover. Does the TV work OK outside of the computer connection? Maybe the thing is just broken.

If the TV does not turn on, it's dead, issue is not with a remote. TV must have a power button on it at least, even if no other buttons. If it does not turn on at all, your issue is not that the TV is not responding to the remote is that the TV is not working. Big thing to miss in your first post that it does not even turn on.
