Apologies if this is in the wrong category.
A few month ago I dropped my laptop and my computer stopped working, after taking off the back I saw my hard drive has a big crack running right through it.
I now get this screen when turning my laptop on:
After googling what's wrong I realise that my hard drive isn't recognised, and I don't know what to do next.
Am I able to just buy a external hard drive and plug it in and it'll work?
Or can I buy a hard drive and just replace it with my current broken one? If so is this difficult cos if you can't tell already I'm a computer newbie. Or should I just take it to a computer store?
