I got a new 32" TCL LED HDTV, it has two HDMI ports, USB port, and RCA plug-ins. I have a old home theater system that I have used for along time that just uses RCA's(no Optical plug in). My question is how do I get the surround system to work with the TV?
I need help connecting old surround sound system to hdtv using RCA ports

You can likely get some stereo but not surround sound from the TV by using the headphone / audio out on the TV and connecting it to an AUX input on the home theater you have. If you want surround sound, get a new one with HDMI connections, route your devices through that, and use the HDMI out on the receiver to get video to the TV.
