Hello,

I am an owner of Inspiron 13z 7359 2-in-1 laptop that has Intel core i5-6200u Skylake processor with Intel HD 520 graphics chip. I am trying to download the drivers(the ones from DELL site are very outdated) for the Intel HD 520 from this site(the Windows 10, 64-bit version which I have installed):

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25749/Intel-Beta-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-7-8-1-10-15-40-

where my processor(Intel core i5-6200u) is listed as supported.

However whenever I try to install the drivers I get this message:

"The computer does not meet minimum requirements for installing the software."

I have tried to remove graphics drivers completly in device manager and try installing but with no success.

Could anyone please help me resolve my issue?

Thank you for your time and help.

Regards

Mike

I have tried even these drivers:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25274/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-7-8-1-10-15-40-

says: The driver being installed isnt valid for this computer. Please obtain the appropriate driver from the computer manufacturer.

Does this mean that I cannot use original Intel HD 520 drivers?

I suspect you need to use whatever drivers Dell has available on their website.

I have a Dell Inspiron 3540 with a Core i5-4200u and Intel HD 4400 (got a Radeon HD 8850m as well). Every time I have tried to install official video drivers from Intel I get the exact same error you are receiving.

Hello jaguarskx,

actually yesterday I managed to install an original Intel HD 520 graphics driver manually. The first result shows that the driver helped ALOT. The graphics performance is increased.

The other thing is that the temperature of the CPU is +10°C when its at full speed. Before the temperature was 60-63°C and now I am getting around 73°C.

The manufacturer says the CPU should not go over 100°C so I think its fine.
