My 1+1/2 year Inspiron 15 also doesn't turn on. It beeps once every 3 seconds until I shut it off. I repeat until it turns on or I give up. 22x is the most I've tried before giving up. The beep every 3 seconds means it's the motherboard. I was quoted $200+ to replace it. Is this reasonable? Is it something I could do myself or just buy a new one? Will there be a fix by Dell?

Hello... Go to DELL's website and type in all your #'s from your purchase/model sticker on it... and see if it's under warranty first.
