I have an ACER 4376 Laptop.It works only when plugged in and not on battery even though it is new and charging well.When I start the windows on battery it boots but shuts down after a few seconds.When running on power Windows loads properly and all programs run well wirhout any problem or intruption.Whereas what ever program is running on power,no sooner the power is switched off the laptop shuts down immediately or some times after a while when we change the program or do any other activity on the laptop.As long as the screen is not changed the laptop keeps going and the battery also gets discharged.Can any one splve this problem.Thanks

Hi,

From the symptoms you've given about your laptop, its more likely to be a battery issue.
- Do test your AC adapter first and see if it's supplying enough voltage or better yet try another AC adapter that has the same voltage that may charge it properly.
- Try to remove the battery the see if will boot up normally without it because if it does that confirms that it's the battery that is faulty and replacing it would be the only solution.
- If its still under the factory warranty do contact Acer Support for a replacement battery.
