Hey guys my Acer laptop battery as of late started to charge rather quickly but gives me only an hour and a half of use.Whereas it previously gave me 3hrs and a half.

Whats going on?

I will also add that the laptop fell maybe about 8 inches onto the floor knocking the battery out before this started to happen.

Any suggestions

sounds like dead cells/deteriorates ?? say the pack has 4 cells and 3 die don't take as long to charge one cell and one cell cant hold as long as 3 ?? time for a new battery it seems -nothing lasts for ever under and over charging just adds to the deteriorates factor like why they say don't leave the charger hooked up after the battery is full charged and things like that ?? that's my guess
Capacity of a battery declines as the battery ages, with the number of charge cycles and time at high temperature. Under average usage patterns your battery maintains approximately 70% of its power capacity after the first year of operation
