Hello everyone! Here's my short version of the story: I has a nice Acer laptop (I5 5200, 8G DDR3, GT 840m, 4 cell battery) which is no more with me. I got the money back. Now I'm using my family laptop, which is more than enough for now, but still I prefer to get mine as soon as possible.

That said, I've been checking laptops in the UE (spain to be exact) and things look quite better than they did in december/January. Still, I can't feel convinced by any model about 500-650€. I've checked those ones, tho:

  • Asus R510JX-DM300D i5-4200H/GTX 950M/4GB/1TB/15,6"
Lenovo 300-15ISK - Portátil de 15.6" (Intel Core i5 6200U, 4 GB de RAM, Disco HDD de 1 TB, ATI Exo Pro R5 M330 con 2 GB)
    MSI CX61 2QF-1872XES i5-4210M/8GB/1TB/GT940M/15.6"
    Acer Aspire E5-573G i5-5200/GT940M/6GB/500GB/15.6"W8.1

As none of them are bad laptops, all of them lack something: for example, I've asked the MSI oficial support about the battery life and they told me it could be a 5h max, which is not enough (I need 7 hour with light use, let's say word, pdf, excel...). Same happens with the Asus, which has a nice graphic, but I've been told to expect 3 hour of battery life. The lenovo one has a weak graphic card, as I've read and the Acer one has "Only" 3 cell battery and it's not removable, which is a big con.

So, I can try some of those or wait 2-3 months and check again.. I will gladly accept any other idea, but keep in mind that as a spanish guy I could only access EU amazons and little more out of my country.

Thanks in regard for your time : )
