Hello,
i ran into a problem which is driving me nuts for the past few days.

the problem is this. I try to log into Mediafire, by clicking on Log in on the start site.
Nothing happens ( the small pupup for usern. and pw isnt appearing). Also, if i try to click the signup button and there a "package" nothing happens.
I have had ( lost by now ) a browser cookie session on another browser where i was still logged in.
There i could go to options etc. but no files have been displayed, just loaded forever.
Same for the how much storage i use number.
I can download from Mediafire however.

Overall it seems while i can load the images and basic html stuff from their site, anything else simply doesnt load. Javascript and flash i assume.

Now, my flash is up to date, javascript is enabled. It worked fine until 3 days ago too.
I tried deactivating all addons i have installed, no luck.
I tried restarting PC, no luck.
I tried different browser, newly installed, addon free etc. - no luck.
I tried a different PC and a laptop, with different browsers and no addons - no luck.
I tried turning anything off i run in the background like AV etc. no luck.
I tried accessing the site trough Proxies on my end - no luck.
I checked the router for any blocked ips etc. no luck
I checked the windows hosts file for changes, nothing.
I tried to reset router - no luck.

So to summarize, this odd problem is not only on this PC, but on any PC/Laptop i have, and any browser etc. I run 3 different OS on those pcs (Win7 HE, Prof. and Win10 )
Everything is up-to-date.

Also, just to clear that, i am not banned from the site. My account is normally accessable.
Mediafire is also not down or anything. I logged into the account trough a PC i have Teamviewer access too, and there it worked just fine.
I also do not share, or have ever uploaded anything copyrigthed or anything that would conflict with any terms etc. So i am also not banned or anything.

I cant even contact their support, i need to be logged into the site for that.
With the session i was still logged into, i tried that. The ticket submit form wouldnt send, just reload the page as if i missed to fill out the captcha or something else, but with no clue why.

I assume there is some part of mediafire, which i cant access to at all from here, or something similar. I do not know how this could be or what i can do to make it work again.
Especially as it seems to only affect -parts- of this site, i have no problems at all on any other site i visit.

For any clue how this can be, or why, and what i could try/do againt it i would be thankfull.

Solution
If it's happening on all of your systems at once, but not in a system outside your house, issue is either with the router/modem or the ISP. Try rebooting the modem and router, try things again. Also try to manually set a different DNS (many use Google which is 8.8.8.8)

Hello, thank you, iceblitzed and hang-the-9.

I did complete malware searchs with combofix, ccleaner, malwarebytes and let 2 av programms run trough, that had no luck sadly, or luckily?

Then i tried to reboot the router a 2nd time, and reseting it while i was on it.
It didnt work then, so i tried finding the DNS thing within my router ( no idea about this things ).
And somewhere around this time it got solved. I am not 100& sure why, but the router talked about a firmware update, which i need, but couldnt download. Thats the only thing that really happend in the router settings.

Im a little sad i couldnt find out the actual reason, but as long as its solved i at least can use mediafire again.
Thank you for the responses.
