My laptop shuts off and restarts when the AC adapter is plugged in.
In safe mode or running it with battery there is no such issue. I've been told it's a MoBo issue.
It mostly shuts off when gaming. But it does NOT shut off if idle ingame. Is this still MoBa related or not?

What i've done so far.

- reseated both RAM's
- tried new AC adapter
- reinstalled OS
- added new thermal paste
- streched GPU & CPU
- checked temps (completely norma)
- updated BIOS

Please help:(

PS1: Is it possible that the problem is MoBa related but does not shut off when i'm not typing or using it?

PS2: The shut offs are completely random and happen at random times (because i saw many threads with people saying that their laptop shuts off between 10-15 minutes). My laptop shuts off from scale 30 minutes to 5-6 hours.

Solution
More than likely it is a problem with the motherboard. It appears you have already been inside of the machine so I'll suggest pulling the motherboard and looking it over for any leaking or swollen capacitors and also look for burnt areas or components on the motherboard.

yeah, that's what i did but nothing is burnt :(

Your next step would probably be to try to troubleshoot the motherboard, there's a few good guides out there (YouTube had some) for that but I'm not finding the ones I am thinking of (it's been a while since I last looked at that and searches are not being helpful for me at this time).

Remove the battery for 24 hours. Put battery back in then hold the on off button for a minimum of 1 minute. Plug power into laptop should now be ok
