Hi,
Do test if it's your battery or the AC adapter that is faulty.
- Remove the battery off the laptop then boot it up with just the AC adapter and see if it stays on. If it stays on without shutting down that means it's the battery that is faulty.
- If the laptop will shut down with just the AC adapter connected that means it's the charger that is faulty.
- Also do try to put the battery in while the laptop is on and see if it would charge normally or if it would revive it.
- If all these will not work replacing either battery or the AC adapter depending on the outcome of the troubleshooting steps done will be the only solution.
