Help?? I upgraded my Dell Inspiron 15R 5537 from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10. My ethernet stopped working as well as my WiFi. After two days of talking to Dell and Microsoft techs I was able to revert back to 8.1 and boot in safe mode with networking. I have sound that I enabled as well but, I would like to know if it's possible to enable HDMI while in safe mode? I have rescue disks on the way but need to connect to an external monitor via HDMI until then. Any help??

I'm guessing you've tried unsuccessfully? Safe mode disables everything except for what's necessary to run the OS. I think this will pretty much limit you to VGA or DVI output. Any chance your monitor supports those connections and you have a spare cable lying around? There's really no point in running HDMI in safe mode as I don't think you'll be able to achieve high definition video.
