Hello i recently bought my asus N551JX-CN098H but recently it crashed so i rebooted it. It went to the bios screen and it is stuck there. I tried restarting it in safe mode by pressing F8 but it went straight to the bios again. When i check the sata configuration i can only find my 1st HDD and cd driver and in the boot section none of all HDD/SDD's are listed. Specs are below, i'm not a computer pro, but i know the basics very well.

UPDATE:

it seems like the 1st and 3th data port are not showing up, that would explain the 2th HDD and SSD not getting recognized by the computer. any help for this? i tried opening the laptop but can't find the SSD/sata connection.

Specs:256GB SSD
2* 450GB HDD
16GB ram
Nvidea GeForce 950M
Intel i 7

Please help, thanks in advance

Hi,

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help.
- Start by removing both the HDD and SSD, your laptop maybe using a m.2 SSD that looks like a small RAM.
- If you've removed both device, boot your laptop without them and see if it would get pass BIOS.
- If it does, that means it's those devices that are faulty.
- Put them back in and see if it would get stuck on BIOS or not.
- If the laptop is still under the factory warranty do contact ASUS for a repair.
