Hi there, Chrome has always worked on my laptop. I run Windows 7. Have not downloaded 10 yet as I want to wait until its bugs are fixed. I am now unable to access chrome on win 7, is this a spanner that win 10 has thrown in the works to try to get me to upgrade to 10?

Unlikely to be caused by the Windows 10 notification, unless you have accepted the upgraded and attempted to install it.
Try running a repair on Chrome within Programs and Features, if that doesnt fix it then remove chrome and re-install it via downloading it via internet explorer.
