Yesterday I disassembled my Sony Vaio to see if I can fix the keyboard and the 2 usb ports that werent working. Before the disassembly I had 1 usb port working that is in the same row are the 2 that arent/werent working. Now,I'm stuck with one usb port that is on the other side of the laptop. When I opened the laptop I didnt do anything but blow air to the motherboard, but I might have done something wrong when I assembled the laptop back.

A USB hub can provide additional USB ports out of one port since USB is by nature expandable. Both mouse and keyboard use little bandwidth and usually not much power, so it should work.
You could find them at any online retail stores If you need a powered one, type powered usb hub to find a good one.

Disassembly and assembly of any laptop PC is not easy because they involve so many tiny parts and different tiny screws. It's common for usb ports to go dead and not working anymore. I suggest just not to use those ports and get a USB hub that provides many more ports through one port. If you need to use many usb devices, it's also better to buy one with an external power supply.
