I have an asus laptop model x553s, I've had it for a week exactly. Yesterday i left it on sleep mode for around an hour, came back to start using it and the screen turned black. I tried turning it on and the power button lights up green but there's no response on the screen, the charging light also lights up and starts blinking but I'm not charging it. I let it charge all night to see if that was the problem but still no response. Any help in making it turn on again?

Hi,

Your laptop might just went into Hibernate mode, do try a hard reboot, remove the battery and unplug the AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds then boot it back up. If these doesn't work please do try these other troubleshooting steps.
- While the laptop is on, connect an external monitor and see if you'll get any display from it.
- Next is to reseat the RAM's, remove all the RAM for couple of seconds then put them back in making sure everything is seated properly.
- If these doesn't work do test the AC adapter or try another one that has the same voltage with yours.
- And if all these will not work the problem lies in the motherboard itself.
