I have acer aspire 4738zg but recently my laptop turn off after i turn on the laptop for a second.I have cleaning the cooling fan and applying new thermal paste but the thermal paste that I used is the cheap one.Can you guys helping in solving my problem?One more thing that I forget.Yy usb port is not working.Is that my usb ribbon is damaged or it have any problem that I can't use the usb port..Hope that you guys can figure the problem and solve it for me

Please do try these series of troubleshooting steps that may help in identifying the issue.
- Start by doing a hard reboot, remove the battery and unplug the AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds then see if it would shut down automatically again.
- If these doesn't work try booting up the laptop without its battery. Next to try is to test the AC adapter if it's supplying enough voltage or try another AC adapter and see if it would still shut down.
- If all these will not work and since you've already applied a new thermal paste and cleaned up the fan then its a motherboard problem already.
