Hey guys, i just noticed these 4 headsets and i am wondering which one is better? Perhaps u guys can give me a pros and cons of each one ? The headsets are these:

Razer Kraken (not Pro version)
Astro G430
Corsair Raptor HS40
August EP640

I'll mainly use the headset for gaming and music basically. I also skype a lot with my friends while gaming, so a good micro would be good (don't know abou the EP640 in this case, as it isn't particuarly made dfor gaming, but anyway).Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Regards, Gil :D

EDIT: If there is better options, tell me. I just want a good budget headset for gaming and music. Once again, thanks.

I vote for the Logitech G430...theyre my 2nd gaming headset (after a Razer). Great sound, great ear cups, clear mic...low price.

*like Skill Nye, I've dropped them more than I'd want to admit :/

Logitech G430's are pretty nice, I've had them for about 3 years, and I've dropped them countless times, great product. The sound quality is good, not punchy bass, which is a problem for me, but good for gaming and small details inside of games.

Razer Krakens, I can't really say for those, but I have the pro version ATM. And they are nice, these I'm a little more scared to drop, only because they feel a bit more fragile, but I have dropped them a few times, and they've held together. They have nice punchy bass, and sound really good with a external amp, and are decent in gaming. I'd say the Pro version, is tailored more towards the people who listen to music, and game. And the regular version is just for gaming.

I can't say at all for the others.

If you can afford to up the budget just a little, then the HyperX Cloud is one of the best value and most praised gaming headsets released in recent years. The Cloud II is essentially the same but with 7.1 support.

Had my IIs for 6 months now, and I've been extremely happy with them :)
