Internet not working

Hello, yesterday I encountered a problem with my internet, the internet on my laptop isn't working. Skype still works and I can look on steam but downloading updates or going to a website doesn't. I also found no games work, league of legends says could not connect to http server. I already restarted wifi router and laptop but it doesn't work.

Possibly a virus.

If you're running Windows 7, try a tool called CompleteInternetRepair (be sure to use a trustworthy site for the download). It will reset a handful of network related settings and then prompt you to restart the computer. Once you're back into your desktop, test everything again. If the problem is still there, I suspect malware.

I do not think that it is malware since I ran my laptop in safe mode and it still didn't work. I'm gonna try the repair tool now, thx for the tip
