so i bought the blue snowball, to be able to talk with people over skype while gaming.
i dont like using headphones so im using speakers instead, and people over skype can very clearly hear the game or music through my speakers.

i tried lowering the mic sensitivity, but then they cant hear me, its like it doesnt matter how far away the speakers are, theyre always the same volume as my voice.
so there must be some software thing i can do right? maybe certain drivers?
im currently using realtek HD drivers.

p.s. it shouldnt matter, but i bought the ICE version (lite version) since i dont need the different modes.

first thing:
the mic should be close to your mouth. say a few inches away ideally (3-6" in most cases) with a pop filter/boom

second thing:
speakers should be at very low volumes or they might get picked up by the mic even if its cardioid and close to you

third thing:
your room should not allow echos as this could hurt what you are trying to do. in a worst case scenario you could make a sound isolation box around the mic.
