Hello all, been searching for laptop recently so as my old one cant keep up anymore, it will be used for general use HD movies, some gaming and also 3d modelling rendering. My budget is stretched to maximum 520 euros, but better if around 500 or less, I have 2 candidates for now (both under 500 value)
1) ACER ASPIRE E5-573G
Intel I5-5200U processor
4gb ram (can be upgraded)
1TB HDD
Gforce 940m 2gb video card
4 cell battery

2) LENOVO G50-80
INTEL I7-5500U processor
4gb ram
1TB hdd
R5 M330 AR 2GB video card

I would go for lenovo, due to better processor, but video card seems quite a bit weaker than Acer one, i7 one is cheaper by 10 Euros so basically they are same price, ACER seems quite balanced package.
Some other variants:

3) ASUS R556LB-XO153D (little above 500 price)i5-5200U processor
4gb ram (only 1 slot ?)
1tb hdd (5400 rpm)
940m graphics card
Battery seems to be 2 cell

4) HP 250 (above 500 price)Intel i5-5200U processor
4gb ram
Radeon R5 M330 2gb card

5)Lenovo G50-80 (quite a bit cheaper than rest)
i5-5200U processor
4gb ram
1tb HDD
R5 M330 2gb card

I can only speak from experience in what I have used in the past, but to be honest, I recommend none of these; especially ASUS and Lenovo. ASUS uses cheap parts and Lenovo is more for general office/business use. I have always known the best brand for graphics usage to be Toshiba (specifically the Satellite models). I bought one of their laptops about 5-6 years ago and it still plays games great and the movies are crystal clear using onboard graphics.

Well considering my budget it is expected to have cheap parts :)
Seems I found the deal...

LENOVO Z51-70
i5-5200U processor
8gb ram
1tb HDD (8gb ssd inside)
AMD Radeon R9 M375 2gb video card (seems about same as 940m from gf)
Also price is nice, so it is under 500.
