Hello Forum,

I've really been on the hunt for a mobile gaming laptop. Something lightweight, nice to look at, but most of all performs well. I came across the, HP Omen 15, this laptop looks beautiful and it packs a decent punch too. It houses a Nvidia gtx 960m graphics chip along with an i74720hq processor. I just don't know much more about the laptop? If I'm gonna be spending this kinda price for a nice machine, I wanna know what's in it. Does anyone know what kind of ssd's the HP Omen possesses? Are they good ssd's or junk? Also what about the memory? Is it generic garbage or name brand stuff packaged in there?

Thank you

OEM vendors change brands and models of components often, only way to find out exactly what will be in the system you ordered is to ask HP. Even if someone that has the same laptop said what they have, does not mean that is what will be in yours.

If you go to www.xoticpc.com you will have a lot of specific options to pick from when ordering a laptop, down to the brand of thermal paste they use on it.
