I have purchased a new logitech G430 headset which is not working at all with or without the USB connector on my desktop computer, however it works fine on my Lenovo laptop. Both run on windows 7. I tired using different USB ports and used direct audio connectors as well. It is able to install the drivers properly and is also detected in device manager. However system tray displays the icon of "no speakers or headphones connected" Also i am unable to configure the device from manage audio device. Windows troubleshooter informs that audio device is disabled and is unable to enable it. I have updated the Realtek audio drivers as well. My old HP wireless headsets are working fine however.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers followed by system reboot multiple times however it does not work. Also i have installed the logitech gaming software. LGS informs that audio levels are at zero and is unable to play surround sound as well. I dont what the problem is.. Please help

The fact that installing the drivers didn't work explains why the headset doesn't work. What do you mean you reinstalled the drivers but it does not work? Does the driver install go through okay? Does it error out?

After plugging the headset on any USB port (Front or back) windows automatically installs the drivers and it completes successfully. Also device manager displays as headset properly installed with information displaying that "this device is working properly" I uninstalled the drivers from device manager. Also tried uninstalling device it self. Post reboot windows automatically installs the device drivers.
