What does HDWR mean? Keyboards

I'm considering purchasing a keyboard that's described as GERMAN HDWR! I can't contact the seller for information so any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'm guessing it stands for hardware.

I suppose that it means that it use the german QWERTZ key layoyut instead the usual QWERTY.

Thanks for the input Juanrdp and Mankar. I considered that it may have something to do with the QWERTZ key layout but wasn't 100% sure. Anyway thanks again for confirming my suspicions.
