I being thinking for sometime now, that I sell my i3-4150 processor and consider buying a used cheap laptop and use it for home use. Going to keep led monitor only.
And buy a new laptop 6th gen i5 either Hp or dell 5559. Even if I keep desktop or not.

I need to run
1. torrent for downloading and uploading nonstop for 12-16 hours daily,
2. streaming from and to other devices, access and share data from my iPad, android mobiles.
3. Office works includes of words and excel and sending and accessing good drive between laptop.
4.While torrents downloading watching movies which I downloaded of 1080p or watching on YouTube n other sites.
5. Since Hdd will be limited access external Hdd whenever I buy one.
6. Access my existing desktop Hdd to remove the current files n store what I don't need.
7. Play games on new laptop only, if I'm going laptop only.
8. Later make the used one as hub as well for using with led to.
9. If having used laptop then maybe give it to the kids to watch in their rooms or on our bed. ( not important )
10. Mostly, laptop have hdmi port but for desktop will need to buy expensive board for hdmi port, or buy a Gpu for desktop, as these used laptop can never be upgraded with Gpu as none might be included.
11. Lastly, which laptop can be upgraded to newer version of Windows n drivers( core 2duo, celeron, i3 first gen so on) And can be expanded to 8gb ram from 4gb ram, if I ever need too.

So considering this all should I continue building my desktop or sell my i3-4150 processor.

Solution
This i5-2500k is about 5 times faster then my old AMD A4-3400m, there is no comparison between the AMD A4-3400m APU in graphics performance to the Nvidia GTX 950 I have now. You can hover over my blue JQB45 picture to get a list of my computer specifications.

The CPU was brought new in 2011, I inherited that computer. I replaced the motherboard, power supply added a video card, 8 GB more RAM, Corsair Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler and a WiFi AC PCIe 1x card. The rebuild of this computer cost a lot less then it would have cost to buy a laptop. And any laptop in the $400 USD range would have been much slower.

I used my old laptop for 2 years as a desktop computer. They work fine for that. I had mine connected to a 27" AOC 1080P TN monitor and Logitech 2.1 Speakers. When I traveled I just disconnect everything and take the laptop, power supply and headphones with me leaving the monitor, speakers and keyboard behind.

The only desktop part that I had to bring with me was my Logitech Anywhere MX Mouse. It worked out well. I've since rebuilt an i5-2500k (see signature) and use it as my primary computer, but i still keep the laptop handy for travel.

That`s the one thing that puzzles me about someone having a decent tower based system.
And then wanting to sell it for a more expensive laptop, that in a lot of ways will perform worse than the tower based system with a good gaming card, cpu, lot`s of system memory and the ability to add more hard drives to the system for more storage space.

If you sit and think about it, would it not be much better to setup if using with a local network.
A streaming server, and remote desktop access so you can use the tower based Pc anywhere in your house but access it also anywhere that has a internet connection by using remote software, using it as a Wan server.
You could access it via wi-fi, 3g or 4g also.

To control the desktop pc.

Setup right, and you could also play games and stream them to another device, watch videos, control the up time of programs running, or typing word documents to be send via e-mail ect vampelle.

Using your Ipad to access it when your out or any of your mobile phones you use, plus any game console devices.
And put the money towards a better I5 cpu for that tower based system instead, and more system memory, or storage drives.

Just a suggestion.

Thank you all for ur advice, but,
the reason for thinking of having two laptop was for mobility one for me that I would carry to work, outstation n so on, while enjoying everything on it, even games if I ever decide to play( at the current moment I'm not a game just play few normal games on iPad).
And the other for wife n kids, to act as desktop and mainly, to keep them away from my iPad. And from new laptop i5 or i7( Lenovo g50-80 for i7)which will be mine only, used used one will be docked one mainly.

Sure, having a desktop have lot of advantage, like having more Hdd if I ever need it, or replacing when one get busted. ( I have 10+Hdd sata n ide which r busted so far). Adding Gpu if I ever do decide to use hdmi port (gaming is least of my concern when I think about it, as I want to enjoying watching movies in full had on my monitor n later in future on led tv when I buy).
I guess ram in both cases are same scenario.
Sure laptop don't need lot of space which tower will.

i have router in my house so it is wifi, only I had my old desktop (used dell optiplex gx620 desktop) connected with lab cable,( did everything was amazing but was laggin with Windows 7 32 bit especially verity office 2007 n some codec format movies n couldn't lay more than 720p) I use to access it from my iPad or mobile through an app but was limited to format basis.

I sure would like to know how to play games through wifi from pic to iPad or iPad to PCs.
The reason for not going i5 is I don't want to spend where I don't need too, as not a gamer or designer, I think i3 is overkill for me. But since I had bought a used i3-4150 with warranty that why I'm asking.
If I go for used laptop than I will sell this processor. But if I'm am keeping it that, I need a wifi card or connect with lan cable again, since the board I have gotten opinion in used without warranty are (Asus h81m-k or asrock h81 pro Btc, both r same prices i.e. $40) with 4gb ram single stick, with gigabyte 335u casing with seasonic 300w n dvdrw. All are used n without warranty in $170, as new will be ever expensive.

While I checked few local online store, I might get first gen i3 for around $ 200-300or new celeron for $300-350. All estimated.

Few of the site I checked so far for new desktop or new laptop or used laptop.

New one for everything, work, outdoors, outstation.
Used for home n mobility, so kids don't take my iPad. Or maybe I restrict them from watching. Too much YouTube
Too much stupid shows.

That true, I'm a desktop person, but now as time goes, I do need a laptop for myself.
Also, was thinking of saving of wifi card n hdmi.........

If I made my mine of desktop maybe I will sell this or go for g3240 or g3220.
Or even go for g840 with Intel board supporting 2nd n 3rd processor support. Will cost me $70 for total desktop without hdmi port n 4gb ram.....

It was so easy in early dates

For the things that you want to use the system for, you really need a main desktop. If you want more mobility with the power of a desktop.....well there is really no such thing as yet....your best bet is to buy a decent media center desktop system for the house....buy a NAS drive, and create a home network where you can stream media & download/upload etc. do all those things, but then consider buying a powerful gaming laptop if you really want the mobility aspect. These things don't come cheap.
