I upgraded my laptop to windows 10 2 days ago but then my laptop said "plugged in, not charging" at 60%.
I used the battery reset function in lenovo energy management and was pleases to see my battery charging up. It charged up to full, then started to drain. After complete drain it didnot boot again.
Now when i turn it on, it shows a red light in the charging LED and does not show the usual white light of charging. Not battery is too low to boot it up and it is not charging anymore..
Please help me with it.

Hi,

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help in solving the issue.
- Start by doing a hard reset, remove the battery and AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds then see if it will boot up normally.
- If it doesn't boot up, remove the battery and boot it up with just the charger connected and see if it will boot up.
- Next to try is to reseat the RAM's, remove them all for couple of seconds then put them back in making sure that all RAM are seated properly into each slot.
- Do also try another AC adapter that has the same voltage and see if it will make the laptop boot up.
- If all these will not work it's the motherboard that has the problem and if it's still under the factory warranty do contact Lenovo for a repair
