no internet connection

I have a acer aspire that has worked good in the past. Now I can only get updates . Can not connect to IE or Google, wireless or wired. none of the other 5 pcs in the house have this problem

on a laptop make sure the wifi not turned off. some laptops have a funtion key or an on off switxh on the laptop make sure the wifi is on by the led. also under netwrok devices make sure nothing is disabled there. under device manager make sure your not missing any drivers.

Check your wireless adapter, and your device driver. If they're in good shape, then maybe your system files are corrupted. I can't think of any other reasons at the moment...
