Hello good people. i am THIS close to flaming, the reason to that is because i bought a laptop about 2 months ago, it had good specs like intel core i7 2.4 ghz 6 ram 5500u graphics card intel. So about 1 month ago i started experiencing laggs in all of the games that i play, not specific one. It doesnt matter if its counter strike 1.6 or fallout 4 this happens in all of the games. So what is happening with these lags are that every 5 or so seconds my frames drops down to about 10 from 60 fps in world of warcraft so i went to the store i bought this laptop from and they said they could not do anything because the warranty doesnt cover it, can you believe it only 1 month after buying this. So i started looking for solutions, i have tried everything you can imagine, from factory reseting, checked on youtube, tried looking myself for problems EVERYTHING i have searched for a solution, so my question to you is, what do you think i should do, 8my shift doesnt work either so i cant write question marks8 theres like nothing else to do as far as i know, and this problem isnt because of my specs because before i had this laptop i had another one for like 200 dollars, it was known to havean amd r6 wich is like the worst graphics card and amd 6010 cpu wich is the worst modern cpu plus it had only 4 ram and i forgot to say that i am not very rich so i spent my last 500 dollars on this computer and i wont be able to buy anything for a while

Well first thing, the shift key is bad, that is hardware.

Second, if a clean Windows setup did not help, that is THEIR setup of Windows (meaning the laptop maker not the place you got it from), which should work. As long as the games meed the requirements of the game it should run the game, and it should not all of a sudden start to work worse. It may be because of heat issues.

Things that seem like software issues after a clean Windows setup are usually hardware issues (too much heat, failing hard drive, failing video card, things like that).

Well if you ran a factory reset and updated drivers and only played with the power cable in (as aome laptops switch to the intel gfx when on battery) then return to retailer for repair or replacement. .btw what is the make and model?

Benchmark your CPU and your GPU. (There are many programs, I use passmark)
Compare to other gaming laptops with a similar spec (surely someone else must have tried gaming on a laptop?)
If yours is worse, you can take it back to the shop and prove it is defective.
If yours benchmarks the same as other laptops, you are out of luck.

well it doesn't sound like software, if your computer specs meet the recommended requirement for the game there should be no issue. try and get a video on your phone of what happens so you can show the shop.
