Upgrading Intel Pentium Dual-Core to i3

Ok, so I really want to upgrade my Toshiba Satellite A205-S5871's processor or else i would just buy a new one...

So, is it possible for me to upgrade my laptop processor from Intel Pentium Dual-Core to i3 dont mind me if it is a stupid question but i need an answer :)

You cannot for many reasons including incompatible BIOS, Motherboard, chipset, and socket(though could get mobile core 2 that may or may not be compatible)

Is mobile core 2 bettter then the one I have?

It probably would be a slight upgrade, if it works properly in the bios. The only improvement seen eould be due to clockspeed and other features that were locked out of the lower teir processor.

In all it will not be a huge improvement, and will be very difficult. The core2 aarch cannot keep up with todays tasks like newer processors can
