no sound on my latitude d610

Hi,

Did you try using an external speaker or a headset? Here are some troubleshooting steps that I've suggested to others who had the same problem.

- Do try to uninstall/reinstall the sound driver again but this time download and install the latest sound driver from Dell's Support site.

- Next is to make sure to select the default Playback Device.
- Make sure that the sound level is all the way up to 100%.
- And lastly do a complete factory reset and if that will not solve the problem then it's the sound card that was damaged.
