I have a blank screen too. But when I try to power it on all the lights come on but none of the keys seems to work. It seems l like it is not getting any power past the point were the lcd plugs is to the motherboard. It will power on the lights come on I hear the fan come on and the dvd player powers up. I have changed the inverter. I have plug a External monitor in and it does not come on. And I know the external monitor good.I do notice a quick flash of light on the lcd srceen when I first power it on. I notice a lcd light at the botton of the srceen that does not light up. I don't know if that is there for show or if it is inportant.
