So I recently picked up a Nook Tablet for $30 at a pawn shop mistakenly labeled "Nook Color" and thought meh, I'll install Android on it, it'll be a nice pooping tablet. I have been following this series of videos:
(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3YYXtGAt6GY (It's multiple videos that all end at this one)

Well I get to installing the Kit kat files and it starts, then the screen goes black and turns off. I turn it back on to find it resets to factory settings in the regular old Nook OS. Does anybody out there know how to help me... Please all you one Nook Tablet users?

While you may be able to install basic Android on it, you may be trying to install a too new version that won't run on it.

They make boot SD cards with Android on it for the Nook you can get for pretty cheap, look on eBay.

Keep in mind that is has to be a Nook Tablet, there is an older Nook version that I am pretty sure this won't work on. I have not looked into it in a few years so don't remember details.

I already did all that, and I can confirm that it is a Nook Tablet. I have been doing the SD card... I think the problem is I have other files in there but those are what open the recovery.
